Community Guidelines
These guidelines exist for one reason: to keep this platform focused on helping families reconnect safely and effectively. We all have a role to play in maintaining that trust.
Our Core Values
Be Genuine
Only post real SOS requests. False alarms waste time and erode trust when people actually need help.
Be Respectful
Remember that behind every post is a family in distress. Treat everyone with the compassion you'd want if it were your loved one missing.
Be Accurate
Only share information you know to be true. If you're not sure, say so. Misinformation can send search efforts in the wrong direction.
Be Safe
Protect privacy. Don't share sensitive details like exact addresses, phone numbers, or financial information publicly.
Do This
- ✓Post genuine requests for help locating loved ones
- ✓Include clear descriptions and recent photos
- ✓Reply with factual information or confirmed sightings
- ✓Offer constructive help and support
- ✓Mark posts as resolved when found
- ✓Report content that violates guidelines
Don't Do This
- ✗Post fake or misleading information
- ✗Harass, threaten, or attack other users
- ✗Share unverified rumors or speculation
- ✗Post spam, ads, or requests for money
- ✗Violate anyone's privacy or safety
- ✗Use the platform for anything other than its intended purpose
See Something Wrong? Report It
Every post has a "Report" button. If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. Our moderation team reviews every report and takes action quickly.
What Happens When Rules Are Broken
Minor Violations
First-time minor issues result in a warning and content removal. We understand mistakes happen.
Repeated Violations
Multiple violations or more serious issues lead to temporary suspension from posting and replying.
Severe Violations
Serious violations like harassment, scams, or intentional misinformation result in permanent bans. No second chances.
